Harley Jensen is a Bay Area native who has spent much of his creative energy in architecture.  A Cal-Berkeley graduate who studied under architect Charles Moore, he is the founding partner of Jensen/Ptaszynski Architects ( and has left his mark on sites all around the Bay Area, including The Sea Ranch.

Photography is Harley’s other passion.  His architect’s eye is evident in his intense relationship with his art - a penchant for abstraction, tightly composed images and exquisite detail.

Harley Jensen is a colorist, both in his architecture and in his photography.  In his “Colores” series he explores the spaces between buildings of San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato, Mexico. In addition included are many other subjects, particularly images gathered during years of travel.
